How much does it cost to tow an EV or Tesla in Uptown?

Uptown runs from the Mississippi River bend through the Garden District's 19th-century mansion blocks to Freret St and the edge of Central City, with St. Charles Ave as the spine. St. Charles is the core route for the Krewe of Rex and dozens of other Carnival parades, so the city posts hard tow-away zones for the length of the season, leave a car on the route during a parade and it's getting hauled to a city lot, no exceptions. Tulane and Loyola sit right off St. Charles too, and student lockouts, expired-tag tows, and campus-lot calls run steady all school year. The narrow, oak-canopied side streets off Magazine St trap double-parked delivery trucks daily, and the streetcar line running the length of St. Charles means clearance enforcement is a year-round concern, not just a Carnival one. Higher, natural-levee ground here fared better than most of the city during Katrina, so our flood calls in Uptown run lighter than in the Core's lower blocks, most jobs are routine breakdowns, lockouts, and parade-season tows.
