Give year, model, and whether the display works. Say whether the car rolls, which tires are damaged, garage height if you are inside a structure, and the destination. If a charger is still connected, say so. Do not pry a door or drag the car to make loading easier.
A car lockout may open the cabin. It does not choose the towing method.
Where this is harder in the metro
Narrow Uptown and Marigny streets leave little room for a deck. Downtown garages add posted clearance. Floodwater at underpasses, including Carrollton Avenue, is a recovery problem, not a mode setting. Check 511 Louisiana for closures.
On covered interstate routes, DOTD MAP may provide limited free help when already present. MAP is a scheduled patrol. It does not tow a Tesla away for repair.
